Leo Liang, CEO & Co-Founder

Leo Liang is Co-Founder & CEO of CipherOwl, the AI-powered intelligence layer for institutional crypto. Before founding CipherOwl, he served as Head of Data Platform & Services at Coinbase, where he built the company’s petabyte-scale onchain data and compliance infrastructure, powering risk, AML, and product analytics. Earlier, Leo led engineering teams at Cruise, Twitter, AWS, and Microsoft, gaining two decades of large-scale data, ML and blockchain experience.

Ming Jang, CPO & Co-Founder

Ming Jiang is the Co-Founder & CPO of CipherOwl. Before founding CipherOwl, he partnered with Leoto lead product for Coinbase’s onchain data services and also compliance services. He brings deep product leadership experience across crypto, large-scale data platforms, and enterprise solutions, with a track record spanning companies like Cruise, AWS and IBM.

Zack Martin, Sales & BD Lead

Zack Martin leads Sales and Business Development at CipherOwl. Prior to joining the team, he managed strategic relationships at Chainalysis, partnering with leading exchanges, fintech firms, and payment processors. His background spans financial sales and services roles at top firms including Salesforce, William Blair, Bear Stearns, and Ernst & Young, bringing a depth of experience across both traditional finance and the digital asset ecosystem.

Zhanwu Xiong, Founding Engineer

Zhanwu Xiong is a founding engineer at CipherOwl, where he leads development of core data models and risk algorithms for crypto compliance and investigation tools. Previously, he was a lead engineer at Coinbase’s crypto data team, enabling business insights from blockchain data. Zhanwu also built machine learning infrastructure at Cruise and worked on Microsoft’s e-commerce platform.

Henry Yang, Founding Engineer

Henry Yang leads Infrastructure and the Intelligence Layer at CipherOwl. Previously, he led engineering in crypto data infrastructure at Coinbase, where he built large-scale, cloud-native systems for onchain data. At CipherOwl, he focuses on AI-powered developer tools that accelerate productivity and enable high-efficiency intelligence workflows. His background includes engineering leadership at Microsoft Azure, Twitter, Lyft, and multiple startups, with deep expertise in secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and crypto systems.

Chagri Poyraz, Founding Team Advisor

Chagri Poyraz is a part of the founding team and supports CipherOwl in an advisory capacity. He is currently the Chief Strategy Officer of OSL Group. Previously, he held leadership roles on sanctions, anti-money laundering (AML), and financial crime risk management for global institutions including Binance, Coupang and HSBC, leveraging over two decades of experience across the banking and consulting sectors. Poyraz brings deep expertise in AFC compliance, blockchain, and fintech risk frameworks.
